Recently, when I am working on my website, this almost always means simplifying things. Today I worked on the project pages and started to build a sidebar and stuff. But the result is that I kept the existing navigation on the left, removed the background from it, shrunk the header of the posts, and that clean look imho works way better than any fancy sidebar.
I just installed surf by Flipboard. Going to play around a bit. So far it looks very nice, it becomes a bit slow after some scrolling, but beside that I really like it.
Ooops… I guess, I just killed my website by updating to Kirby5 😬 It worked on my local machine – ha a classic – but on prod it just throws 404s on every page, the panel works fine. I'll have a look later this evening.
What ChatGPT cannot give you is that short moment, when you put down the pen, look at the written words, and have those peaceful seconds of silence in your head.
