The site on https://tilde.cafe/~novaburst now is merely text/html generated from text/gemini, therefore both having roughly the same content
My homepage is now on the Gemini protocol -> gemini://envs.net/~novaburst
Side note: It's a hard link to the main one on tilde.cafe which is over HTTP
Now also on gemini:// @ gemini://envs.net/~novaburst/twtxt.txt
No, Go is the better Python, and it isn't even a prototyping language
You can still call me Nova anyway, I don't care XD
I made-up a new name for myself, Aoi Koizumi, it's very nonsensical though lol
Meanwhile I'm writing my own twtxt client, but so far it only drove me mad for now
Sounds about right
Also granted I do manual page authoring sometimes
I write my website in [mdoc(7)](https://man.openbsd.org/mdoc.7) and wrote a makefile-based generator xD
Also a side note: public servers exist, but if you'd like to self host, you're free to do so :P
I don't think I could recommend you one for it lol. Never used Appleware never will
@prologic Yeah I have noticed thanks to the commit log, anyway. Just prepared a patch including the manual page before I went to sleep yesterday lol.
@prologic They all suck, anyway. More or less this is what I recommend: Gajim (GUI) Profanity (CLI) blabber.im (Android)
https://tilde.team/~novaburst/man/zs.1.html CC: @prologic
I probably wouldn't bother, anyway
I am against any centralized IM, including Signal
eXtensible Messaging and Presence Protocol exists, and Signal being centralized it's its main flaw
The only thing that is annoying (at least to me) is the use vue.js (JavaScript) for the frontend. Sigh
Meanwhile there are saner IM protocols and no one gives a fuck
@prologic wait, really?
Sadly most are scripted (Python, Perl, Ruby), and ezmlm(-idx) only works with qmail MTA, heh

Happy new year
@prologic that was just a rant that didn't deserve an entry for my blog

Long story short: don't bother with Fediverse, just use twtxt, a plain text file to rule them all!
FWUP: the available web based ones I found are decent (only two or three so far), but I don't want a web browser open just for that
FWUP: Mastodon has at least two
FWUP: Pleroma has a lack of terminal clients
FWUP: and the non-Electron ones are either Rust (which I dislike), GTK3/4, and python (which is half-decent)
Looking for literally any alternate clients available for fediverse, and most of them are Electron
Today is Thu Sep 10334 1993!
high school graduation party tomorrow, hell yeah!
Geez, I should update my homepage's git repository
@prologic the former twtxt file was phased out, lol, no need to follow it anymore or anything
@thecanine well I had a *ton* of twts and nobody ever gave a damn, to begin with, lol.

@thecanine even though I don't use yarn.social directly? :P
@prologic yeah, pretty much i'll do that, sad that txtnish is dead, but whatever, I need something to do :D
@prologic o/
New url is https://tilde.cafe/~novaburst/twtxt.txt
I might consider to write my own twtxt client, just as I did with a password manager
It was time to start all over again
