Anyone use HetrixTools? Thinking about using it as a simple means of picking up on outages.
Significant update to my laptop monitoring script: chose some smart defaults—so that it's backwards compatible with the old version, including the Telegraf configuration—while allowing for optional command-line arguments. My motivation was: 1) to no longer require devices to have a battery, so that I can monitor my rpi's temperature; and 2) to have a play with slightly more complex bash scripting than I'm used to. Fun times! :-)
Ooo! A new release for Loki! With 200 PRs! And I was already running 2.1, so it _should_ be a trivial upgrade. *rubs hands* :-D
@o11y Installed Promtail on my pod/web server. And got that beaut of a dashboard (12559) displaying NGINX access metrics:
Grafana dashboard 12559 screenshot -- Up next: pod/system logs via Promtail.
Success! \\o/ 🎉
Grafana dashboard 928, prior to my partner's weekly Jitsi call with mates -- now I'll be able to get a better idea of what's going on, pre and post new twtd
build. Plus, I've got a front-row seat for the imminent Jitsi Meet load!
OK, this one looks... comprehensive! https://grafana.com/grafana/dashboards/928 -- In case you're wondering, I'm working with InfluxDB (and, as of this week, Loki) as my data source. I may dive in on Prometheus at some point; just for my own knowledge, if nothing else. We'll see.
Hello nfld! 👋 This will be a *Learning in Public* feed. Right now, I'm looking for a host-metrics Grafana dashboard, ahead of upgrading to a significantly-new build of twtd
(based on @xuu's hard work). Already distracted, by this beaut: NGINX access logs via Loki: https://envs.sh/bX
