@eldersnake Finally got around to watching this. Whilst I admire Luke's perspective here, he really just went on and on, and really to me came across as quite negative. I mean c'mon, it's not all that bad. We _could_ do something about it. Take https://search.marginalia.nu/ for example or my own attempt https://spyda.dev -- Yes I agree Reddit is garbage, Bookface is trash and advertising business models is _really_ what's caused a lot of the utility of the Web to become as bad as it had, we _can_ change it!

@adi You know.. That site that started out as a college contact list and way to get together, that then turned into this giant evil privacy sucking, time wasting sinkhole ever created in human existence :D
