I envy you for living in that area quite a bit. šŸ˜… So much more green, the hills make for a much more interesting area. It also appears to be much less crowded than over here (I’d never dare to take a leak in ā€œthe woodsā€, there’s always someone around šŸ˜…). There aren’t that many forests here to begin with – only in the ā€œTaunusā€, but I’d have to drive there with my car.

@movq Thank you! Yeah, I'm quite lucky with nature indeed. Although, there can be quite some people around, too. Especially if the weather is cooperating. But it helps that I don't mind getting a bit dirty, so I can take smaller, less frequently travelled paths. :-) If I move one day, I will only relocate to rural areas with very few people (much less than here) and lots of nature, like Schwarzwald, SchwƤbische Alb, AllgƤu etc. The ever-growing population just sucks.
