@lyse @prologic Ok, added to the VHosts block, and it seems to be responding correctly for me now, let me know if it is for you too.
Bah, i'm a couple hours early -- the free demo will be available in a couple hours, apologies for the early post, over-excited!
@prologic ((#sjgxtdq) This is another example of a more "focused" search engine -- https://searchmysite.net -- Interesting to think about how a twtxt.txt file could be indexed...
Today was a day that i had to work against my desires for 🍩🍩🍩🍩.
@prologic Ok, cool. That is what i will take as v2... I also like the "meta data" some feeds have behind #
s as well. "Front Matter" style.
@prologic What is the canonical repo of the twtxt "spec"? Is there one? Can we just sort of publish an rfc for v2.0? How many folks are still using twtxt?
Just wondering how hard you can abuse the auto-linking subject hashtags.
@prologic (re Twtxt spec) yeah, i get it, that is how i followed you via the link in your profile/bio page. But, as you mentioned, the spec does not require an order to the tweets/posts/lines in the text file. And i can *totally* see how having it be in order, newest at the bottom, could help with bandwith/traffic in a big way.
(old clients) Ok, so i dont' feel too back
@prologic (re Twtxt spec) Right, for your underlaying DB. I was more thinking of folks still using just the plain-text twtxt, it would just be a most-recent-activity appended to the "bottom" of the text file, allowing for the use of some HTTP headers so you don't have to DL the whole file... More state to keep track of on the client however.
@prologic (re Twtxt spec) Would this make the twtxt.txt
file like an append only log? Does that allow one to use HTTP Range requests?
Working on how to quickly access emoji 👍. Now i just have to remember to do so. Also look into linking to images... Although i guess that isn't what this is "for"...
And now i have it in NotationVelocity with all my other text stuff. Joy.
Got a short-cut expander for the date-time, good to go!
I think the easiest thing to do is to just edit the text file directly, rather than using the twtxt tweet
command.
Welp, here we go. Another blog-thing that i am excited about but will likely not actually keep up with :)
