@markwylde You should be able to run ports -u (_I think_) and then cd /usr/ports/docker and pkg build && pkg add. I _hope_ all this still works, it's been a while since I've last used it and I need to get back to improving/maintaining it. π€
@off_grid_living They are also highly inefficient allegedly. You would require many more of them to power the same work load I believe. Ifyouβre okay with that then go for it. They will last π

@deadguy Pre-existing formats such as? Re maintaining two feeds being odd, yeah it could be cumbersome without tooling... then again without some kind of encryption it wouldnβt be very private either so I think some level of tooling would still be required?

@felixp7 then again it might be possible actually if we create a very simple convention and lightweigjt protocol to initiate a private message in the first place, exchange keys or some kind of authentication for exampleβ¦

So basically the #Australian#LNP (_Australian Liberal National Party_) is breaking several laws by sending me unsolicited text messages (#SMS) to my personal mobile phone. This is all covered in the Spam Act. 2003 where you have to a) Have consent and b) Provide an "unsubscribe" method. Both of which are in violation here. Good on you #LNP -- Nice to see that politicians and political parties can _behave_ as-if they are above the law.
I keep getting spammed (_via SMS text messages to my phone_) by the Australian Liberal Party (LNP) π³ I'm very pissed about this. Not only is the number that ways "message STOP to blah blah blah" is an invalid number (_you phone it and it's actually disconnected!_) π³ Worse yet, their own website lnp.org.au is actually down! I'm seriously considering whether Home Automation is mature enough or even worthwhile. Priblem is I've spent thousands of $$$ on hardware and many thousands more of my time setting it up (_if you're like me and live by "time is money"_). Right now, in my opinion, Home Automation" sucks. Home-Assistant really needs to not be written in a scripting language and OZW really needs a swift kick up their backside. /frustrated π€¬
I managed to recover a few, then discovered my custom "Display Names" for various "Entities" were all gone and had defaulted back to the factory defaults, e.g: "Hue Ambient 1". After fiddling for a few hours I gave up. I still have at least 1 broken/missing Smart Switch 6 and one non-functioning Smart Sensor. I _really_ do not have time to be debugging complex software interactions with multiple layers, nor do I have time to be a SysAdmin. I'm finding all of this to be quite operationally frustrating at beast really.
I am really quite frustrated today by Home-Assistant, Open Z=Wave and Aeotec. Why? Today my home automation failed on me, the Z-Wave network would not start. I had to remove the virtual USB device from the VM and remove the Z-Wave Gateway USB STick from the physical Hypervisor node, add it all back for things to start working again. Once I had done that, I discovered other problems. Many nodes were "Unavailable" and "Undefined"...
Never seen a state wide SMS from the bearea before so this one (storm) must be going to be bad!!! βπ§ππ©π¨
