If I win the lottery one day, I will semi-retire and only work on open source and writing software and building tech that _actually_ helps everyday people π€
@nicolagi I _want_ to build a distributed file system... Interested? I want a FUSE frontend, data to be distributed amongst participating nodes with reed solomon erasure encoding at a minimum. Everything else is optional or a bonus, and I want this as a single portable binary written in Go π I _still_ think your dino project is pretty close and a lot of code could be re-uased here...
@auau65535 I don't quite understand this (_the translation is bad_), can you re-phrease this in English? I'm curious what you're saying about Twtxt and Tumblr π€
π£ ANN: Announcing a new @ bot (_automated feed_) that announces the time every half hour on the hour.\n\n \n\nFor those with traditional Twtxt clients you can follow it with it's twtxt.txt feed.\n\nHappy Twtxt'ing π€
Yeah I kind of agree with Twitterβ’'s stance here of wiping out followers of accounts/feeds that effectively change hands. I mean humans / people follow other humans / people. The _only_ exception to this rule would be following topics of interest such as @astrophotography here
@jb55 The nice thing about twtxt.net and other pods is I probably have an archive of your twts and could probably reconstruct your feed if your want? π€
@xuu@adiPrivate Messaging is finally done in the messages_poc_2 branch. If you have time to have a look and play with it locally and test it out that would be great. The plan is to release this as the first version which only supports "on-pod messaging" right now (_cross-pod to come later_).
Going to have to install a proper DashCam in our car! This ass last night nearly caused a collision and was driving like a maniac! π‘ Too bad I wasnβt able to capture the plates to report to the police π₯\n\n
