@jason Is just the way threading work. Essentially conversations can be forked as side topics naturally occur. Conversations or Yarns form a tree like structure of Twts and Twt Hashes distributed over clients

@eaplmx Yeah it's something I think we should fix. A searchable archive is what I've leaned towards. ie search. For now you could use the global search engine π€

What I find amazing about micro service l architectures in the way engineering teams and software companies overuse them is how many problems they seem to run into and solutions to those problems that seem to arise.
when did you ever hear problems with good old fashion monolith designs and implementation and random tools created to solve problems with monolith development?

@jason Yup that's why when we built the extensions we made sure they were as compatible with older simpler clients as we could π
For example the Twt Subject Hash extension can actually be done by hand by a user by just copying an existing g hash (the thread / yarn).
Btw do you know why we call it Yarn? π€ π

@jason Re discovering who has recently mentioned you (probably the only way you'll find new followers) -- I have an idea of how to make this work for you and generally others in the same boat as you.
Btw, do you happen to be any good at coding in Go?
Anyway, i _think_ we can teach the search engine/crawler how to index mentions (we already parse them actually in our twt parser) and index those. Then you can easily search based on mentions.
