fun run through some of spartanburg, south carolina. ran down the mary black rail trail and there were so many things to see (and take pictures of). the second half it started to rain but it was light so nothing crazy. definitely surprised since i was low on sleep and had drank the night before.

main focus was on form. i've noticed in recent runs my knee has slight discomfort when i land with a straight leg (even if not a heel strike). not sure why i am doing this anyways. working on a more elastic form and it went pretty well and felt more natural and fun.
going to have to remember to calm it down a bit though now that humidity and dew point are constantly high.

nice little run. the bike ride beforehand definitely primed the engines. went off a bit faster than normal but that may be due to already having had done a loop on the bike. leg felt fine before, during, and after.

Just did a quick easy run to test how the knee was feeling today. Did the backwards walking up the overpass which I realize I do not walk in a straight line in reverse without peeking. It did relieve some pressure on the knee which was welcome. Overall the knee was a bit tight but no crazy pain. Still going to baby it for a bit though.
