Unfortuantely whilst yarnd _does_ support fetching feeds over Gopher, Gemini and HTTP, it doesn't (yet?) support fetching and caching Avatars over the former two protocols, only HTTP at the moment. It's just a code-level thing really. PRs are of course welcome if I don't get around to it myself 👌
