@prologic Oh yeah, right I cut it down a bit short sorry. But they used ads on TV showing family playing games together instead of being something that parent would buy for their kids. They also changed how they present the games images on their packages, instead of having images of real people playing tennis for example, they had a images of games screenshots. That way they would avoid ppl to buy the game just to find out that doesn't look like the package images. Quite interesting.

@prologic @antonio I don't think the point of marketing is selling things you don't really need, I believe the point of marketing is selling things. There are lots of things you don't really need that you still buy because of various reasons. You don't really need a video game, but it's fun so you buy it because of that reason.
