@novaburst I too have to keep track of lot on accounts, I use an org-mode file to know where I have which account.
I even have to keep track of other people's accounts too, luckily only for storage purpose, since they can't understand the importance of remembering their own passwords, I can count to over 140 in total. ðŸ˜
@justamoment I often use my own password manager to store logins and whatnot, as I've been migrating from the good ol' pass
Keepass user for many many years. StrongBox Pro on iOS is an invaluable tool for me. KeepassXC on my laptop 👌
I use both pass (The Standard UNIX Password Store) and gopass a modern Go port with team support - To date I have 382 passwords 😳

@novaburst Did you fork it from pass or is something completely different? I was thinking of building one myself for a while now.
@ullarah Keepass is pretty nice but I prefer a plain text system like pass.
I don't even keep my own passwords written anywhere, I just need to remember the username, that's why I thought of using a stateless approach AND a password manager for the others accounts.
@prologic Yeah, I saw gopass and the android client too but I don't like the fact that I have to take around a gpg key, I prefer having something deterministic of easily replicable even without the original at hand.
I am using Bitwarden/Vaultwarden locally hosted. Because I can share passwords with my better-half and tools exists for all major systems and browsers.
@novaburst what do you use?
@prologic i also use pass and gopass but i also use keepassxc with syncthing on a mesh.
@carsten i also host vaultwarden internally for ease of use in the haus.
you could say i'm vault of vaults :-)
