💡 I know how to solve the whole "Follow" experience cross-pod. Each pod's "Follow" view would have an input box (_if you're not already logged in to that pod_) asking for what your "Pod URL" is (_just like on the Mobile App's Login/Regsiter screen_). When you put this in, it'll redirect you to your own Pod's Follow page with the same details already filled out ready to go. 🥳 #Solved 👌

It is something badly needed, for engagement, and quality of reading. For example, all you guys replying to Slashdot feeds. I don't really want to follow that feed, but I want to interact if anyone I follow does it. Not possible as is right now.
@prologic I see a man in the middle rubbing his hands.
@prologic The "yarnd" at which the redirect is initiated could just display a fake login page from the entered target yarnd and thereby trick the user to believe he's on the real instance and this way steal user credentials. Also not so sure on the usability. Copying a feed URL over to one's yarnd seems pretty straigt forward to me. Entering ones own URL on the other hand sounds quite weird to me. But again, I don't use it.
