Q: Does anyone know where one can purchase 2RU to 4RU Rack mounted storage servers with Hot Swap either 2.5" or 3.5" bays **but** Short Depth to fit a 600mm depth rack? π€ Unfortunately the one in my server room is a custom job from iStarUSA from a company that no longer exists, so I doubt they make the chassis anymore...

@fastidious LOL Reddit is blocked at the network here π

this is how I'd achieve a similar result in Traveik. I _might_ explore this a bit later, it would require me to build a lightweight container that services an error page and maybe supports regex patterns to service other types of content like /user/*/twtxt.txt
.
I _had_ to turn off my Ad Blocker at my network for a few mins to puruse that particular reddit thread, but yeah that wasn't useful at all π’ Next! π€£

@prologic You should check out Teddit or Libreddit. They're privacy and freedom respecting, self-hostable frontends for Reddit.
@mckinley Oh "frontends" you say? π€ Pity I don't even really like Reddit in the first place, but I'll see about standing those up or exploring them anytime someone links me to a Reddit thread π cheers! πββοΈ /me bookmarks your Twt π

Reddit is awesome. It is the Frontpage of the Internet! βΊοΈ

If you can stand the pain and suffering of a second hand experience, sure. I say, if you are against Reddit, then just donβt try any front ends. Fully avoiding is best. Sorry to have linked to it. π

I wouldn't say the experience is _that_ bad, lol. I use Teddit a lot for casual reading of topics on Reddit, although this is admittedly casual perusing. No interacting or anything obviously.

I almost exclusively use a mobile app (Apollo) to browse, read and post to Reddit. I donβt see ads, and the experience is superb.
On desktop I go seldomβonce every couple of months?βbut I donβt see much problems with it, even while using the newer, much hated, UI.
@fastidious Yeah I looked at a few Dell option not much there that fit and are good for storage Iβm afraid π₯

@fastidious The problem for me is that I choose not to use and not to support any forum blogging or social media type platforms that profit off user generated data so for me itβs a bit of a moral standing I guess π

@prologic
Basically just like the old school Reddit before their change to the hipster web 2.0 version. π€£
