I'm a big fan of scuttlebutt and especially their android app manyverse, but storing and indexing the ssb network ruins my android. He can't handle it. 😫😐
@will I like some of the ideas of ssb / scuttlebut. Not the network per se, but the "offline first" ideas. I _want_ to evolve Yarn.social towards that goal some day.

@prologic One thing I've learned about people from ssb is no matter how sleek and offline you want to be, they really want to upload gigantic multimedia files of their cat. which i respect. maybe in the future that won't be as big a deal as it is for my poor android
