I was considering a Pinebook Pro until I can afford a Framework and it's available in my country but:

@adi It's really a good idea for me a have laptop I can install OpenBSD as a main operating system. I'm running Windows 10, ssh and WSL, not optimal. Can't remove the Windows 10 install.

@adi @eldersnake I have 2 X220T's and 1 X220 but getting "Fan error" on all 3 of them. One also has a damaged display.

@adi BTW I'd be very interested in how you go with OpenBSD as a main operating system. I have an old laptop that is my secondary machine, currently running Arch Linux no problem, but tempted to put an SSD in it. When I do instead of migrating the install I've been tempted to try a *BSD on it. Just because.*
@eldersnake \n\n> BTW I’d be very interested in how you go with OpenBSD as a main operating system.\n\nI'm very satisfied, stuff just works, (except the stuff that just doesn't like Bluetooth), everything is just simpler compared to any other operating system. I couldn't switch back to Linux or even macOS I believe.

@adi I've used FreeBSD before. I thought OpenBSD was meant to be somewhat less suitable for a desktop operating system but I've seen plenty of people online using it that way.
@adi \n> I use cwm as a window manager.\n\nLooks pretty neat, and minimal. Not sure anything will ever pry me away from dwm, as it's so ingrained in my muscle memory now, thankfully it's easy to run on pretty much any UNIX-like OS.
