I hope all the diehards Signal lovers around here pitch in to keep Signal's marvellous service up and running, and stick it to the man (that is, the evil corporations of the world)! Who is donating, and how much? Let's all share! I don't use Signal, so I am donating $0.00.
@david Also £0. I thought they had loads of funding.
To clarify, I donate to lots of other projects. :-)
I've donated $100 in the past year

@prologic thank you for your service, sir! :-D This top comment on Hacker News makes more sense, should Signal were to follow it:
> I'd argue that $5/month is quite high. Not because Signal isn't useful, but because the actual incurred cost per user is much, much lower. Of course, not everyone is going to pay. But if Signal were to ask users to pay, say $10 per year, I'm sure there'd be a lot more payers.
@carsten yup, agreed. It is simple math, and more manageable for many. As I said, I don't use it, but if I did, the cost of a coffee cup per month wouldn't be much for me. Now, everyone's acquisitition power is different.
Of topic, I am not seeing your avatar on my pod, even if it shows fine on yours. I wonder why. I have started to follow you now, maybe it will update on your next twt or so.
