Lesson 278: Muay Boran Arm Grab & Finish
In this version of the ancient Muay Thai arm grab and finish, we are dealing with a more resisting opponent. Even if we initiate with more strikes to soften our opponent for this move, when it comes down to it, most will resist having their arms controlled and twisted. So what we do next is to grab hold of the arm, go underneath to strike again. Once you are able to control your opponent's arms and are able to bring him or her down. Go ahead and stomp on the head for good measure. Then use your leg and shin to sit on top of your opponent's back to apply pressure and do the wrist lock or arm break.

Keep in mind that these transitions are done to find a way to control your opponent rather than simply striking or breaking them without warning. Let's just say this would be a more humane approach if possible.
