Lesson 255: Muay Boran Uppercut Stance (part 4 - arm strike setup)
This version of the ancient Muay Thai uppercut stance focuses on arm strikes. When your opponent exposes his or her arms to attack, evade and strike the arm with your uppercut. By doing so, you hurt the arm then follow-up with other strikes. The arm attack can be painful when you hit with your knuckles to their arm muscles.

Note: Not everyone will leave their arms out. For those who are more seasoned and bring their arms back after they punch, you can throw the uppercut straight to their face or follow up with other strikes. Also, you don't necessarily have to hit so hard in case they bring their elbow out. You can retract the uppercut to the arm and continue on with strikes to the head or body.#martialarts #martialartist #muayboran #wushu #wingchun #silat #warrior #technique #selfdefense #karate #kungfu #kickboxing #martialartstraining #striking #skills #warrior #ninja #moves
