@mckinley We are pleased to tell you that the whole link verification feature is now done entirely client-side. The original intention as @ullarah originally stated are IMO quite valid and useful in their own right. I _believe_ you can still turn this off in Settings -- But if you use the Mobile Web UI it's probably worthwhile havnit in case some asshole decides to link to something that _might_ exploit a device π

@prologic @ullarah Thank you very much, this solution is the best of both worlds. I turned it on just to try it out, and the pop up is really well done. It feels very natural.
