In this version of the ancient Muay Thai inverted heel kick, we are looking to throw this kick when your opponent's head is below one side. This usually happens when your opponent is hugging you to try and take you down. To defend, sit low, sprawl or underhook, push the head down then throw this kick when the head is exposed.
Note: The inverted heel may not always reach is used more as a distraction rather than an actual strike or power move. Use it sparingly as part of setting up distractions and other set-ups between transitions to disguise your true intent.
This is more of a martial arts unorthodox technique applied sparingly in unique circumstances.
