I have a feeling that “trust on first use” is not widely used in Gemini. 🤔 My feedreader implements this and feeds regularly break because people renew their cert long before the old one is expired. Lagrange complains about it as well, though. 🤔

although TOFU has fundamental flaws, I think that for the main purpose of encrypting what you are reading like in a reader, it's good enough.

@eapl.me Hmm, “good enough” … maybe. (My feedreader should probably display TOFU-related warnings in a more prominent way. It’s easy to miss them at the moment and then I wonder why feeds go stale.)
