would it be possible to have some indication if you already follow a person? like where the profile pic is - some indication if you are already following or not? I often have to click in to know.
@stigatle Yeah I often have to do the same 😆 Soimds good to me 👌

@stigatle yes that would be a nice feature. An easy way of indicating it would be a border around the avatar in a specific color -- or that might be taking too much attention.
It could also be a hover/alt text
@prologic maybe, but we already got a lot of icons in the ui. Also what would be a good icons for "you already follow this feed / you do not follow this feed" ? and thidly all icons is for actions, this would only be information.
okay, so the icons for type of feed (bot, rss, human?) could be in different colors depending on if you follow it or not: --text-light
for not following and --accent
if you follow them.
@darch That _could_ work. Wanna give it a try and let us know? 🤔

Oh but there is one problem with that... We don't show an icon for a normal human / user 😅 On purpose too as per a comment from @mckinley which I agreed with 👌

@stigatle Hey 👋 So I guess after thinking about this on/off all day, I'd like to go back to what the problem is we're trying to solve here? 🤔 Is the problem that you sometimes see Twts from feeds you're not sure that you even follow? 🤔 There are only 2 cases where this can happen:
- You are following someone that replies to a feed that you don't follow and whose Root Twt is missing from your Pod, so your Pod asks its peers if it has that Twt.
- You are following someone clearly having a discussion with one ore more folks you don't follow and so you only see one side. TBD (_this is not implemented yet_)

@prologic yup I think that will do for now, though it is not available on mobil.
and then this could be a reason to show the type for Normals feeds as well and then do the color thung
@darch Yeah maybe... Keen to hear some other points of view too 👌

@darch @prologic thanks for looking into this, and sorry for not getting back to you on it sooner (busy week)..
@darch @prologic what about showing a button/label on the right of a post heading, it might need a better location on the compact version but it can be a good way to show on mobile.
@justamoment twtxt don't have headings, so do you mean the username?
@darch Maybe he just means the way we represent things on the UI? 🤔
