This registries thing looks interesting, but I'm still not entirely sure how to find people to follow.
which registry thing are you talking about?

Probably that: https://twtxt.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user/registry.html I don’t really know how to find *those registries*. 🤔 Finding people to follow is always a bit hard, even on Mastodon or other social networks. (Let alone real life. 🤣)

I think we’re doing a fine job growing the network organically though aren’t we? I don’t particularly find the notion of a registry really all that useful in some thing that’s meant to be D centralized in my opinion I think a better fit as a search engine and crawler

@adi @movq The idea is that people will pop up in your view and you'll get the a chance to review their twts and decide whether to follow or not. Decide if they're a "fit" naturally.

@prologic cc @adi @movq Yeah, I like the concept of local discovery, on my pod, and then the option of wider searching, based around common interests and topics.

<-- where did that tag come from?
at present, my plan is to scan through my weblog and see if I see anyone I know passing over their user-agent. Then, keeping a look out on gopher for twtxt folks, and perhaps mentioning it here and there.
