As a long time note taker, using various tools over the years, currently with Org Mode, Iβve been using Roam for the last few days and itβs many exciting things but freeing is probably the most astounding revelation.

@prologic And besides all that you mention, I couldn't bring myself to store notes on a cloud service anyway. Imagine if we have a Carrington level event or their servers go up in smoke - all those notes gone.

There isn't much information on the home page and the links at the bottom go to pages that require far too much JavaScript to load. Is this just a personal wiki service that functions like a centralized TiddlyWiki or is there something more?
