Point is you do sometimes paste full urls and it's not a good idea to accuse everybody who does so of laziness, I say, lots of people paste full urls, it's not an abnormal behaviour and yes, I believe it's a good idea to allow ending a sentence with an url AND punctuation mark like English punctuation ALLOWS!
@adi ah, look the pot calling the kettle black! 🀣 Of course I end sentences with URLs, and exclamation points! Like this https://netbros.com/twt/kbhtrwq!
@david Genius! Lol! But then people might get confused, if not actually lied to 😁, they believe they click the https://netbros.com/twt/kbhtrwq! link but actually go to the https://netbros.com/twt/kbhtrwq page.
@david @adi And do you know why this works? πŸ˜‚ Because @david _correctly_ linkified this nicely! πŸ˜‚

@prologic I understand why and how it works but you missed my point above! πŸ˜› How is that _correctly_? 😁 To be fooled? To be tricked? Into believing you're clicking on something but clicking on something else actually? 😁
@adi Sorry I _think_ we have to end this Yarn here. It's gone out of control πŸ˜‚ Your points are not valid in any world I'm afraid, just because Twitterβ„’ strips !(s) from _things_ that look like they _should_ be URL(s) doesn't mean they're correct. Just because _you_ happen to have an opinion that English punctuation _should_ override the URI specifications doesn't mean you are correct.

It's just that simple πŸ€— Sorry!
