I'm always curious about how the GDPR works, we Aussies here almost have little to no rights when it comes to such things ourselves, I mean we can complain to the ACC and various watchdogs, but we live in a "Nanny" state and we passed stupid shit like TIA Act of 2015_Amendment_(Data_Retention)_Act_2015)._

@prologic in theory the law works fairly well, some companies were fined. In practice, I set my expectations very low. Cases like mine happen everyday and I'd have to hire a personal assistant to post complaints about every single company that does stupid stuff with my data.
