This is why I would never buy into Bionic Eyes to restore my own sight. Any corporate company that develops decent tech in this field, literally won't and cannot give to fucks about the patients (_who are real people_), only money and making profits for their investors.

I _feel_ like this kind of tech should be a "Human Right" and funded by the state.

The other problem of course (_and I get asked this a fair bit_) is that the current tech is pretty pathetic. The resolutions are so poor that it's not even worth it.
