By the way, a Twtxt file is implied to be a plain .txt
file, same as an Atom feed is an XML, .xml
. There is no need to spell out the extension.

@xuu it is all about standardising. It doesn't matter how is named, actually, but for auto-discovery, having it to be something constant is preferred. Wether twtxt.txt
or nick.txt
it doesn't matter, as long as it remains the same.
I have seeing it as many things. If being linked from a website, and auto-discovery is not needed/wanted, then anything works.
