@prologic I *think* it just searches Google on your behalf and scrapes the page for results.
@mckinley in that case doesn't dis mean if I run the software on my infrastructure that it kind of defeats the point of all of the features that they just basically stated? especially the one about tracking and hiding my IP address 😂

@prologic That's covered in the fine print. You could route it through a remote server, but even if you don't you still get the other benefits like no AMP links and DDG-style @bangs.

@mckinley Yeah okay fair enough. Although I'm a bit allergic to running "infra" in the "Cloud" 😅 It's expensive and you don't have complete control over it or the data therein.
