Ancient Muay Thai also has its version of the slanted teep or what's commonly known as a side kick. This is used much like a regular front teep to keep opponent's at bay, as a set-up, or as a follow-up move. Since Muay Boran is all about finding or creating the opening by way of set-ups, fakes, trickery, and striking in unorthodox ways, the slanted or side kick is just another part of our striking arsenal.The path with so many challenges is the most rewarding of all.
