@jlj Thanks for the write up! Very nice ๐ I haven't read PEDRO PIรERA's post on GROWING TUIST'S COMMUNITY but I plan to _tonight_. I _think_ your points on documentation are very valid. We can do much better here. Whether or not we go down the Twt.social or Yarn.social branding is still up for debate, I'm a bit on the fence on this one. One thing I've really loved this week is the willingness by all you guys, yourself @thewismit and @jack who all have brand new pods. Amazing to see! ๐

I'd also like to share with you @jlj when I can a couple of videos. They were made by some friends of our and I _think_ they could be useful somewhere, but still working out where/how/etc. One is a quick 1m intro to Twt.social (_its actually on Youtube uggh_) here and the other is a interview where I answer/talk about a bunch of important issues to do with social media in general and what we're building here...

\n\n> When I embarked on that journey, it was clear that the community would play an important role. That's one of the things that makes Rails so unique too. It's made by people that have a lasting commitment to the project. This is rarely seen in the Swift land, where it's more common to see people come and go often. Many clickbait-type projects reach a spike of hype and stars on GitHub, and then they are abandoned or barely maintained.\n\nThis is so very true, so many projects _do_ end up like this. ๐ข

@thewismit Yes you can. But I _think_ we can improve this somewhat...

@prologic Bloody hell! _GREAT_ video! ๐ Seriously! Now I'm back on the fence, about the rebranding. ๐๐ Just shared it in the Matrix room that I'm hoping will be a big contingent of my initial pod users, when I'm ready to launch. And, yes, please send that interview video along. ๐

@prologic ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฒ _That is BRILLIANT!_ The production level on both pieces is excellent (to say nothing of the message, and how succinctly it's delivered)! I don't know how tough they were to make, but that needs to be factored in any rebranding. Do you mind if I share this?

@jlj I don't mind at all! ๐ (_remember marketing/business/etc are not my strong suit, like at all!_) You can thank @iggi and @tknz for the _very_ nice quality production-grade work they did (_couple of friends of ours in our local area_), all thanks/credit to their amazing videography work! ๐โโ๏ธ

@prologic this video is a great into for people that want to know the what and why of twt.social. I think your front page and probably the front pages of the pods need to see/hear this in some format.\n\nPeople are going to want to see the humanity behind this project. Most of us are sick of the faceless and soul-less companies running our social media platforms.\n\nI'd like to share this video with my family when you're comfortable with that.
@prologic @jlj the short form that's on youtube is a good teaser video that can be used to drive traffic to twt.social.\n\nThe long form should be made available at the twt.social site.
@thewismit By all means, share away! I created this thing to bring Twtxt to the masses, because I _believe_ it the potential it _can_ and will have. An open, decentralised social media without all the "crap".
