#BUG (or feature?) when I hit reply twtxt.net no longer fill in the @mention of the persons who's post I'm replying to...
@darch No, it will no longer fill in the mensions in the Twt you're replying to. Just the person you're replying to. I _believe_ it was decided by consensus that this is _better_ πŸ˜‚

@prologic hmm now it works
@darch It still works but not as mosey as before 😁 Only fills in the person you’re replying to that’s all and only if you actually follow them ☺️

@prologic Ah I think it was because I did not follow fastidious@tt.vltra.plus
@darch Probably, the system has no way of knowing what you prefer to call the person you've mentioned if you don't follow them, so it doesn't bother linking it at all in that case. One could argue we could simply not care about this and just @-mention and link them anyway, but that actually makes for a very ugly user experience because the Reply Text that would be filled in would look something like this:

(#o7jkpza) @<fastidious@tt.vltra.plus https://tt.vltra.plus/fastidious/twtxt.txt>

Which doesn't make for a very nice user experience 🀣

@darch Yes we can! In fact I might add this to Goryon as well.

@darch
It will only use the nick of the person to whom you are replying, no the occasional never ending chain link of nicks. πŸ˜„
