To all my EU friends...

Q: Ia it legal to drink (in a calm orderly manner) in public places like parks, beaches, recreational areas, etc? 🤔

Turns out, I wasn’t entirely correct. According to Wikipedia, several cities tried to outlaw alcohol over the years. 🤔 Sometimes, a court overruled them, though. Also, it’s not allowed to drink alcohol on some trains.

I wasn’t aware of this. I rarely drink alcohol, let alone in public, so I wasn’t up to speed with the current rules. 😅 But to be honest, I think pretty much nobody knows. People generally assume that drinking in public is fine, I’d say. And nobody cares about people drinking “in a calm orderly manner” anyway, only drunk idiots are a problem.
