Agreed, but Nitter makes it better. It's probably one of the strongest of the alternative frontends. There are 83 documented, public, clearnet instances.

The issue for me though, is their use of this "Unofficial API" -- I don't know how they get around the rate limits 😆 -- Otherwise I'd still be able to easily support Twitter -> Twtxt feed aggregation 😢
