Are you guys aware of the notes section of my website? Should I announce new notes here like I do with blog posts?
@mckinley I was not aware no 😅 I personally don't actively go "browsing" per se. I rely on word-of-mouth and I guess by extension Yarn.social / Twtxt to hear/learn of new things.

FWIW I _think_ you should. Use the Share via twtxt.net bookmarklet feature (which you'll find in Settings -> Tools).

You could set up a RSS for your miniblog (if it's not already thee?) that people could then followed via feeds.twtxt.net
@darch This is also an option 👌 Personally I tend to prefer the "Share via ..." bookmarklet, because you're sort of saying "Hey y'all, check this thing out I want to share with you" 😅 I _feel_ like an RSS -> Twtxt feed of a blog is kind of different somehow? 🤔

@darch There's an atom feed: https://mckinley.cc/notes/atom.xml

@prologic, I announced it in the beginning on my main feed but I haven't been announcing each individual post. I think I will from now on.
@mckinley Cool 👌

@mckinley I subscribed to your notes Atom feed the day you published your first note. I just don't get the exact difference between a note and an article. Notes are supposed to be shorter, but from my point of view, all notes so far would also work as regular articles. Doesn't matter, though.
@mckinley I like to split my notes between random thoughts, against deep and shareable articles. So I think it's nice to give your readers the option to choose.
@mckinley I wasn’t, am subscribed now. 👌 (And I’m not exactly sure about the difference, either. 🤔)
