Had such bad batterly life running *nix on my laptop. Win7 gives 7.5 hours battery, Linux has shown around 2-3. Running a Linux VM on Windows 7? 7.25 hours. So at least I can have my work and gaming together in one place. Better than just not being able to run Linux at all, too.*
