I’d also be interested to know if that video plays correctly for you (including sound). Finding a widely supported video format is surprisingly hard. 🤔

@movq Works in Firefox without issues. I reckon I'm quite lame, I was never into gaming. Always liked to program (useless) stuff.
@prologic @movq Video plays well, played little Duke Nukem myself at a class mate's house. I got a computer "later".

@movq @adi I thought Duke Nukem was a side scrolling game much like Commander Keen? 🤔

@adi Hmmm, WebM! So, this is webm + vp9 + opus: https://movq.de/v/025098b899/ A quick search on The Internet suggests that this should work fine in most browsers these days? 🤔 They’re all open/free formats, right?

@movq Yes, no issues with webm here. VP9 and Opus are both free and open, yes.
That’s nice. This shall be my default format from now on. 😊

@prologic Gah! Well, my knowledgeable colleague said: “Some can do WebM+VP9, some can do h264, but there’s basically no overlap.” 🤦 Great. Going with WebM then, because it’s free/open.

@movq @prologic Well, it can be done as demonstrated here. But of course Apple knows better what their users (don't) need…
