In this version of the ancient Muay Thai jump head knee the focus is on defense against a shooting opponent. For this, timing is essential and while the target is the head area, this can also land on the collar bone. For demo purposes, the flying knee was thrown more towards the collar bone with less intensity to prevent serious damage but still illustrate what a jump knee can do if thrown with full force.
NOTE: If you are practicing this move, please use caution and go slow. Unless you have great control, you may knee your partner harder then you intend to. Even we need to use more control especially when your partner is also coming in to double the force.#martialart #martialartist #muayboran #muaythai #warrior #technique #selfdefense #karate #kungfu #kickboxing #wingchun #wushu #silat #martialartstraining #mma #jumping #adrenaline
