Welcome back, @carsten. I don't know of any other German speaking twtxt feed authors besides you and @movq. @stigatle is Norwegian, so I'm not sure if he speaks German.

Well, I enjoy some German around here every now and then. Iβm biased, of course. π

@carsten @movq I thought about splitting feeds. The main feed would remain English only from then on. A new feed is reserved for German content. That way most people can subscribe to only the English one and won't be bothered with German gibberish. And even in yarnd's "show me everything there is out there" model, people could mute the German stuff easily. At least I would unsubscribe from feeds if the content, that I don't understand, grows significantly.
@lyse so, to say you suggest opening a new account/feed. sth like carsten_de or similar?
@carsten @lyse FWIW IMHO at our scale I think is more work and burden on you to have to do this and when I was finding something that I _wanted_ to use a "blogging" or "micro-blogging" platform, the "convenience" of posting quickly was almost as high a priority as "self hosting" and "owning my own data".
So... I wouldn't bother π
As we grow let's build better tools together π The fact is I personally enjoy reading some German sometimes, part of my brain starts to almost recognise bits/pieces if that makes sense π€£ -- But I still use a translator because well its not my native language.
See the same could be true the other way around too for native English speaking/writing...
