As I was putting the trash out this evening there was this strange orange glow the sunset was putting on the clouds and on to the side wall of our house 😳

@prologic I don't know why, but this photo reminds me of Charlton Heston. 🤔
@prologic wow that's a really nice sunset!
@prologic Looks like regular afterglow, we have that all the time. Interesting that you call it “strange”. 🤔 Now I’m curious, maybe this phenomenon is rare when you’re closer to the equator? 🤔

@movq Yeah I've never seen this before here that's why I called it "strange"

it was so eerie and so vivid it was making our very gray concrete walls appear as if they were on fire 😳

this coming from a blind guy of course 🤣

@prologic no I don't actually! I'll have to keep a lookout. #sunset 😂
Yes, I am with @movq. We have those here in a wide variety of colours. No less astonishing, nor less beautiful, nor less awe inspiring. And yes, they 'bleed' everywhere, it isn't just the sky: buildings, trees, roads, everything glows with the colour. It sure is a spectacle to behold!
@movq @fastidious Yep! The evening sun often makes for a real nice red lighting everywhere. Everything instantly feels so warm with the red. Photographers love it, too.
