To answer your questions:
- All Yarn.social pods (as we call them) federate with other pods. Yes.
- Media (photos, videos and audio) can be disabled via CLI/Env or via the Manage Pod UI.
Otherwise the server you intend to run this pod on is totally fine. yarnd
is designed to be pretty lightweight.
Let us know if you run into any issues! Please check our repo for examples of running in Docker (I run my pod in Docker to!) and other configuration parameters you can use.
