@prologic I feel like the only real reason Java has stuck around these past 10 or so years is due to Minecraft which uses Java for both client and servers. Many aspects around Minecraft used (and still uses?) Java.

Although it looks like they may be steering away from Java now that it’s on consoles etc. But who knows.
