@prologic it happens, JavaScript sucks, but it is also so good! :-)
@bender In this case it wasn't so much Javascript, but the HTML elements that form the buttons. Turns out you can't just shove the extra data- attributes on the a tag like you'd expect, no no, you have to shove 'em on some unrelated i element that's used for the icon. da fuq?! 🤦♂️
