π‘ Idea for Yarn.social / Twtxt Search Engine: I bet I _could_ build a way to create "saved search filters" and "subscribe" to those search results as a Twtxt feed itself that you _could_ follow in _any_ Twtxt client (including Yarn.social pods of course) Hmmm π€

Ahh but then we run into the same 'old problem os, authorship of individual twts on a combined feed π€ -- I _think_ that pretty much tosses that idea in the bin π

@prologic yes yes yes, that what I been taking about since join this network. By my idea was just to filter the feeds you already follow.
So some way of reposting or embedded posts in post could be a way to do what you are imaging.
f we get link preview in the yarn UI, like we are already offering for other sites when they post a link to a yarn post, then I see this feature not too hard to make.

Can you elaborate on why this is a problem and can't be done?
@darch Yeah but I don't think we can do this as. feed. It doesn't work. It would have to be a specific yarnd
feature, which I'm not really liking too much either.

@prologic hmm then i guess we need to come up with a way of showing authorship on individual post, if we are to compose new feeds based on others posts
@darch It doesn't really work though. I can't explain why right now (_heading out to table-tennis_) but it just doesn't. This "form" is good for just quoting things, but there's no authorship, the content addressing just gets weird and numerous other niggling little issues. I really don't think the Twtxt format is suitable as a "multi-user" format for allowing one or more persons to post to or "somehow" represent such.

@prologic Chould these seach-feeds just post the links to the posts that matches the searches like the way feeds.twtxt.net does it, and then it up to yarnd
to show the preview of the post, which would be a nice feature to build anyway

@darch yeah, I think that would be the only sensible way to do it, where you basically create a feed for search results. but it's just showing search results that change over time..

@prologic hmm what about that yarnd talks to yarns
behind the scenes, and yarnd then have a timeline that is just all the know feeds (global search) and we do filtering on that one?

@darch I thought about this, this is also possibleπ

if we do, this would probably have a radio box that lets you select between hot search and global search
