Lesson 59: Muay Boran Head Round Kick (part 3)
One of the best and simplest application of the head round kick in both ancient and modern Muay Thai is to throw your rear power kick when your opponent is on the same side stance. When the inside of their body is exposed, it is easier to land a power kick. Even if they block this kick, it will injure their arms and eventually you may even land that devastating body or head shot. It's a simple but time tested method of throwing the high round kick. The path with so many challenges is the most rewarding of all.
