在我国，有三条候鸟迁徙较为集中的路线，其中的东线，就是沿着海岸带迁徙。
这条路线是东亚-澳大利西亚国际迁徙线的一部分，也是所有迁徙路线中最为拥挤的一条。
每年有超过5000万只候鸟，沿着这条路线迁徙，几乎是其他所有迁徙线上的总和。
