this is *not* the same way that the opponents of the change characterize the two sides' proponents. pro-change incrementalists tend to say "we can't wait for feasibility of revolution to make things better", not "revolutions end up with monsters in charge." pro-change revolutionists tend to say "your incremental improvements aren't going to improve things without attacking the root", not "regulations lead to government capture" or whatever.
