Did this show up in the feediverse?
@stigatle before your twt can “show up” on the Fediverse, your account needs to be discoverable. It isn’t. Searching for @stigatle@yarn.stigatle.no, or stigatle@yarn.stigatle.no renders no results. After your account shows up, and someone can follow you, then anything you type here will be seeing by your follower.
@bender are you testing that from another server?
Do I make it discoverable by enabling the 'open profile' setting? or do you mean something else?
@stigatle I am not sure what are the steps on Yarn for that. I will have to ping @prologic, so that he can chime in. I am searching for your handle on my Mastodon server.
@bender can you give me your @user for your mastodon? I can then follow you there and see if that part works. I picked some random ones from fosstodon to follow, it said it followed successfully at least.
@stigatle you might need open profile. Do that, and let me know.
@bender I enabled that through the web ui admin panel now.
@stigatle I can’t still browse to your profile. I get a login screen.
@stigatle yes, that was it. Now if you twt anything I should be able to see it on Mastodon.
